As you may have already read in a few previous blog posts, I've been super busy illustrating and working on the graphic design for Adventureland Games' next card game called Pack of Heroes. Above is the logo for the game which I have designed, I set out to create the most "comic book" logo I could, including as many nods to other comic book and superhero logos I could, I even managed to sneak a bit of Kirby Krackle in there. With the graphic design elements of the game I was going for an overall retro comic book look and feel to compliment the character card illustrations I have created.
Of course Pack of Heroes is a team based superhero game so it goes without saying that the teams also have to have their own logos. There are six teams in the game and I came up with a detailed and simplified circular logo for each of them.
Liberty Legends are a patriotic team, Safari Squad are a team of animal-human hybrids, Data Brigade are all automatons, Knights of the Five Realms are a medieval fantasy team,
The Guild of Ghouls are a group of monster and horror based characters
and as the name suggests Freak Show Five are a troupe of circus freaks.
